About Us

We are very patriotic people, we are thankful to live in a country where we can experience the freedom that is often taken for granted. Mike’s parents were both WWII veterans in the United States Army, and Mike served 8 years in the US Army Reserve. Catherine Rogers, Mike’s mom was an original WAC in 1942 (Women’s Army Corp) and the flag that flew over the US Capitol in her honor is proudly displayed in our store. We both come from hard working families, and are thankful that they passed that work ethic on to us. Both of our parents taught us to work hard and always do the right thing. Because of this, we couldn’t think of a better name than America’s Home Store and America’s Florist to honor them.

We have two grown sons, Tyler and Domenic. Tyler is married to Lindsey and they gave us the greatest gifts...our beautiful grandchildren, Gracie & Carter. When we are not working, we enjoy spending time with them and of course spoiling them!

We want to always live to make the world a better and brighter place. And what does that best... beautiful flowers. All employees that come to work for us must meet the 3 following requirements:
